This genus contains specimens of all sizes, suitable for any soil in sun. All seem to be drought tolerant, the grey leaved varieties doing best overall. Watch out for those which are invasive! Most flower non-stop from June to October. Later flowerings are encouraged by dead-heading, and are often a paler shade than earlier flowers.
